Why your weight fluctuates everyday?

First of all, did you know that your weight fluctuates through each day?
That's right. What you weigh in the morning may not necessarily be the exact thing you will weigh before you head to bed. If you tried to get your weight reading numerous times throughout the day, you will most likely get different figures.

However, this should not drive you crazy. It is perfectly normal. Usually, you weigh lightest in the morning and may gain more in the evening, especially if you eat a large dinner. You experience that weight gain and loss during the day because of fluid intake and salts.
More often than not, your weight temporarily increases due to constipation, medication, hormones, food, water, weather, etc. On the other hand, your weight may reduce due to dehydration, illness, exercise, crash diets, etc.
There is nothing to worry about if you notice that your weight increases and reduces within a day. However, you should be wary of drastic weight changes throughout your life. For example, you add 20kg this year and next year you lose 30kg and before long you are losing 10kg. That could be detrimental to your health in the long run by setting the stage for diabetes or cardiovascular problems.
All in all, what I am saying is that you should maintain a healthy lifestyle. If at all you wish to lose weight, it should be a lifestyle change that you will stick with through life, and not a crash programme that you engage in each time you feel like you are losing weight.
For now, don't be concerned if you add or lose a kilogram or two within a day.
