Eat your way to a brighter, whiter smile

It is often said that a smile is a curve that lights up your face and sets everything straight. However, bad breath, plaque, and stains on your teeth could put a damper on your smile but we can’t have that, can we? So we’ve come up with some foods that could turn up the brightness of your teeth ASAP without you breaking a bank on teeth whitening treatments.
Chomp crunchy fruits
Fruits and veggies like carrots, apples, and celery have a hard texture. This is a good thing ’cause it makes you chew more than usual and in the process produce more saliva which keeps bad breath and plaque at bay. And most importantly, cleanse your teeth and eradicate bacteria.
Go cheesy
Not literally though! Choose this dairy product for your everyday dose of pearly white teeth. Cheese encourages saliva production and it is also rich in lactic acid which works as a whitening agent, this is good news for your teeth obviously.
This fruit isn’t just stomach filling due to its fiber content, it also contains malic acid which helps produce a brightening effect just perfect to make your teeth sparkle. There are some other fruits containing malic acid that could also help whiten your teeth, e.g., strawberries, cherries, peaches, etc.
For extra juice and brightness, go for pineapples! This tropical citrus fruit contains bromelain, an enzyme that works as a natural stain removal and could equally get rid of plaque. Pineapples, as a vitamin C rich fruit also aids digestion, improves your immunity and does wonders for your oral health.
