Days after exiting Mavins Record, Reekado Banks floats his label, ‘Banks Music’

In the spirit of forward movement, former Mavins Records signee, Reekado Banks has formed his
own official record label, Banks Music. This came just days after the singer took his leave from Don Jazzy’s revered Mavins Record. It appears Reekado Banks already had it all planned out while still in Mavins. Within a few days of floating the Banks Music, the music powerhouse’s Instagram page has already garnered a mammoth followership, as the handle boasts of a whopping sixty-two thousand (62,000) followers. The handle also seems to have made a whopping 2,555 posts. He shared an interesting video launching the record label and many of his fans along with celebrities have been lavishing him with congratulatory messages. Many are alleging that Reekado Bank’s exit from Mavins Record was that of betrayal. But the singer made his exit official. His contract with Mavins expired and he decided not to renew. However, fans are saying that no artist ever leaves Don Jazzy and makes it. Singers like Dbanj, Wande Coal, K-switch, D-prince, Dija, Korede Bello were cited as practical examples. Others referred him to the likes of Lil Kesh who made a failed attempt at being bosses of their own. Do you see a bright future for Reekado Bank’s career???
